Unlike the bright Cherry Grove, the Pale Garden is a desaturated and eerie biome. The blocks created for it are almost completely devoid of color with a palette ranging from white to dark gray. The new Hanging Moss blocks obscure your ability to see beyond the trees, adding to the creepiness of the forest. All of these traits make the Pale Garden visually feel like something straight out of Silent Hill. I'm sure the biome and its blocks will be used for various Minecraft horror-themed adventure maps when released.
